About Juniper School

Welcome to Colegio Junipero. We are a bilingual, elementary school, lead by the experienced hands of the Dominican Sisters of Mission San Jose, California. We offer grades from Pre-Kinder, up to 6th grade.

For over 50 years, it has been our mission to offer a superior academic program with strong Catholic, Christian values. Our goal is to promote academic excellence and to enhance the social and emotional growth of our students. We educate children to develop integrity, selfconfidence, character and leadership skills, to face the challenges of the future.

Our staff of educators work closely to develop every student’s potential and talents. As a school community, we believe in a close relationship with our families and their involvement in school activities, as fundamental support towards each student´s growth. Juniper motivates its talented and diverse student body emphasizing academic excellence, developing values and character, and serving to the larger community. Our graduates are attractive prospects for Middle School or Secundaria, and they are recognized as children with strong leadership potential.

The School’s outstanding faculty and administrative staff guide around 700 students through a rigorous curriculum and a full program of artistic and spiritual activities, fostering a close and supportive community.  Our educational program includes all curricular material for preschool and elementary levels.
